By downloading, installing, or using ParkingLot ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App, including free and paid subscribers.
ParkingLot is a personal content saving application that allows users to save links, products, recipes, articles, and other web content for later reference. The App provides search, organization, and price tracking functionality for saved content.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the App at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of significant changes where possible.
To use ParkingLot, you must create an account using a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You must be at least 13 years of age to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.
Free plan: ParkingLot offers a free tier that allows users to save up to 300 items. The free tier is provided at no cost and may be used indefinitely subject to these Terms.
Pro Monthly ($7.00/month): Provides unlimited item storage, price drop alerts, browser extensions, full export, and shared levels. Billed monthly to your Apple ID or Google Play account. Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Pro Annual ($49.00/year): Provides the same features as Pro Monthly at a discounted annual rate. Billed annually to your Apple ID or Google Play account. Subscription automatically renews unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period. No refunds are provided for unused portions of an annual subscription period.
Billing: All payments are processed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. We do not directly handle payment card information. Subscription management, including cancellation, is handled through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings.
Free trial: Where offered, a free trial period will be clearly disclosed before purchase. Your subscription will automatically begin charging at the end of the free trial period unless cancelled.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.
You agree to use ParkingLot only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to use the App to save, share, or distribute content that infringes any intellectual property rights, is defamatory, obscene, or unlawful, contains malware or harmful code, or violates any applicable laws or regulations.
You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the App, interfere with the proper functioning of the App, use automated means to access or scrape the App, or reverse engineer any portion of the App.
ParkingLot saves references to publicly available web content on your behalf. You retain ownership of any notes, tags, and other personal content you add within the App.
By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process your saved content solely for the purpose of providing the App's functionality to you. We do not claim ownership of your content and do not use it for any purpose other than operating the App.
You are responsible for ensuring that your use of saved content complies with applicable copyright and intellectual property laws. ParkingLot is a personal reference tool and is not intended for commercial redistribution of third-party content.
The price tracking feature accesses publicly available web pages to monitor price changes for items you choose to track. We make no guarantee of the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of price information. Price tracking is provided as a convenience feature only and should not be relied upon for financial decisions. We are not responsible for any losses resulting from reliance on price tracking data.
The ParkingLot app, including its design, code, branding, and all content created by us, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. The ParkingLot name and logo are trademarks of ParkingLot. You may not use our trademarks without our prior written permission.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time from within the App.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using the App.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the American Arbitration Association rules, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
